‘If You Believe They Put A Man On The Moon’

The installation consisted of a lenticular image made up of the iconic 1969 Apollo 11 moon landing image and a small stained glass window of the Man in the Moon from a church on the north Norfolk coast in the UK. Placed in a steel frame the work was located on a media tripod in the sacred lake of the temple gardens.

The work was commissioned as part of the project ‘The Moons of Higashiyama’ and commissioned by Ginza Art Lab Tokyo. The project also included works by Anne Lydiat, Tina Keane, Ken Chiba, Keiko Kamma and the project curator Taisuke Morishita.
